Guild Application

Guild Introduction

Dear applicant,

Thank you for your interest in <Just Another Guild>. Please take some time and read this post; failure to do so will only result in wastage of time on both ends. Prior to filling out and submitting the application, please read through and understand our Guild Charter. If you are unable to comply with it, we're sorry to say that JAG will not be a good fit for you.

Your application will be considered once you fill out the questions accordingly and completely. In case of doubt, please contact Kramp/Fated.

About <Just Another Guild>
===================
<Just Another Guild> is a raiding guild. We are looking for skilled members who can fit into our raid time. With respect to end game progression raiding, we require dedication and pro-active players. We are looking for dynamic players who want to experience end-game content and yet not want to make WoW their second job.

<Just Another Guild> mainly consists of players from the time zone of GMT+8 to GMT+10 from Singapore and Australia.

Currently, we have cleared ZA, SSC, TK, MH and BT. We will commence working our way through Sunwell Plateau soon. We aim for a brisk and steady progression for <Just Another Guild>.

=======================
<Just Another Guild> Raid Timing
=======================
Wednesday 11 pm – 2 am (server time) / 9 pm – 12 mn (Singapore/HK/GMT+8)
Thursday 11 pm – 2 am (server time) / 9 pm – 12 mn (Singapore/HK/GMT+8)
Friday 11 pm – 2 am (server time) / 9 pm – 12 mn (Singapore/HK/GMT+8)
Monday 11 pm – 2 am (server time) / 9 pm – 12 mn (Singapore/HK/GMT+8) (Fortnightly)

=====================
Compelling reasons for joining
=====================
- You are mature (no age limit is imposed but being mature mentally is an important requirement).
- You want to play professionally (able to react to difficult situations, capable of listening) with a bunch of dedicated players, and have fun while doing so.
- You enjoy end-game content (MH/BT upwards) and are willing to put in effort, time and repair costs into trying out new encounters.
- You don’t mind occasionally helping other guild members with runs/quests/etc.
- You are willing to spend time to improve your character (gear, consumables, reagents, etc).
- You play your class well and think that you can contribute to the guild’s success.

=================
Why you should not join
=================
- You only want epics without taking into consideration other people in guild.
- You feel it is difficult to adjust to new surroundings.
- You cannot handle stress and/or adapt to various battle situations.
- You expect a raid spot and would QQ to no end if you're being benched, even after explanations.

========
IMPORTANT
========
Before you fill out and submit the application, once again, please ensure that you have read and understood our Guild Charter and will comply with it.

Guild members, with exception of Friends, are not allowed to raid current content (MH/BT for now) with other guilds/PuG. This is to protect our raid ID, and to ensure that if the guild requires your help, you would not be saved to other raids.

After you make your application, the recruitment officer take some time to consider your application, then make a preliminary decision to accept/decline. Should your application be accepted, you will be PMed in game, invited into the guild, and assigned a trial period of two weeks.

If you do not get any PMs in-game, please check with our recruitment forum on the status of your application, as our RL/ARL/CCs might have posted questions for you there. Also, if you intend to register for the forums/guild site, please ensure that you sign up using the character's name you want to apply for. This is the to facilitate the situation where you have been accepted for trial/approved, whereby you will be granted access to private sections of the forum, since permissions are granted according to guild rank. If the username you have registered does not appear on our roster, you will not be able to see the above-mentioned sections.

As we take harmony within the guild seriously, you are required to be in good standing with ALL current JAG raiding members - if gladiators in the guild (justly) has something against you to the extent that they are *strongly* against inviting you, it will result in an auto-deny.

As a Trial Member:
- You will earn DKP when you attend raids, but may not be eligible for loot (established members have priority).
- You will need enough interaction with at least one officer for him/her to gauge you. By interaction, it can be anything from going on heroic runs, short arena games, a bit of Kara raiding, etc.

At the end of the two weeks, you will either be:
- Accepted (promoted to Member)
- Declined
- Extended (remain as Trial Member for 2 more weeks)

If in doubt, please contact Kramp/Fated.

=========
Expectations
=========
Your main raiding character must be level 70, Karazhan keyed and don't require major gear upgrades from Karazhan.

A decent system and stable internet connection is a definite plus.

You should be available and punctual for scheduled raids. Our policy states that raid invites go out 30 minutes before stated raid time, all raiders are to meet at the summoning stone of the raid instance 5 –10 minutes before stated raid time, and first mob pull is to commence at stipulated raid time sharp. Punctuality will be rewarded; repeated late arrivals without reasons acceptable to the raid will be penalised.

Raiding with un-socketed, un-enchanted, sub-par gear is frowned upon. Enchants are readily available in-game, so there should be no excuses. Also, guild members are all expected to wear their best raiding gear at all times during raids, unless specified to do otherwise.

You must have CT_RaidAssist or oRA2, BigWigs (preferred over Deadly Boss Mods), Omen (absolutely NOT KLH Threat Meter) addons installed, as well as Ventrilo (having a microphone is encouraged). Once you have been accepted as a Trial Member, please check with your class consultant whether there are any other addons that will help with raiding.

Best of luck, we look forward to raiding with you.

Cheers,
<Just Another Guild>
