(For those of who who doesn't know who Shrin is, he's one of our founders and respected RL who had to leave due to a difference in play time, now that he's back in the States. But yes! He's back in JAG now! Albeit as a homemaker for now)

Zomg!!!! We have finally beaten the Egg into a pulpy mushy...um. Hmmm.

DKP System briefing before Thursday raid (3rd July 2008)

Dear Peons,

I will be conducting a short briefing on our DKP system for Peons in the trial channel before the Thursday raid starts (10:30 PM Server Time, aka 8:30 PM SG Time). All Peons: please attend.

If there are any gladiators that are also not sure about how the DKP system works, please be there for the briefing as well.

Issues I will be covering: 
- Use of FULL raid consumables. 
- Joining raids late/leaving raids early. 
- Subbing in and out for certain bosses. 
- Signup vs no show at raid. 
- Mistakes/discrepancies in DKP awarded. 
<strike>- Cake vs pie.</strike>

These are the most common issues I come across as a DKP admin, I'm sure Fated's had the same experience when he's covering my ass (he's got beeeeg hands). I want to make sure that ALL peons are aware of how the system works, especially now that we have so many people on trial at the same time (a first for us!). This will go a looooooooooooong way to <strike>hoarding</strike> SAVING your hard-earned DKP.

From the raid planner for tomorrow's raid, so far it seems that all who have signed up by now will be available for tomorrow's raid. So I should be expecting full attendance from peons for tomorrow's briefing. Please reply <a href="http://www.justanotherguild.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1046#8193" target="_blank">here</a> and let me know if you are unable to make it for the briefing tomorrow.

Though technically, whatever I'm gonna say has been fully covered in the DKP System page...

Raiding resumes this week! Hopefully the server finally stabilises and allow us to raid properly. No more sudden lag please!

Oh, btw, this means it's back to signups! Please ensure that you have signed up for the raids, indicate if you're not available by unchecking the "available" option.

We will be having a Guild Meeting tonight (11:30 PM Server Time) for the dissemination of some information, as well as discussion of some issues.

Because the guild is not just about raiders, we would also like the Homemakers to attend and put forth their views.

The agenda for this meeting will be put up shortly in the guild forum, and recapitulated before the meeting starts.

According to Guildomatic, they're doing some emergency maintenance (?), and have taken all guild site forums down momentarily.

"We are performing emergency maintenance work for your guild forums. During this time your guild forums will be unavailable. We do apologize for the inconvenience. They will all be back up shortly. Please do not submit a trouble ticket on this issue as this will only create more work for us."

So for all you trolls, just hang in there, it'll be up shortly :)
